It started as a typical listing...we would work hard marketing the home to get the highest possible and keep the seller informed every step of the way. The late summer was hot but we had comforting central air when having open houses. The kitchen and baths needed some upgrades but the huge enclosed rear porch made up for it.
As we went through the transaction there were 5 siblings that I really tried hard to keep informed...they are very important to me. They were excited when we received an offer for a great price and had visions of closing before Thanksgiving. The buyer was anxious, the lender was on it and we waited, waited, waited for the 3rd party loan program to approve it.
We followed up consistently with all parties, we gave a weekly report to the sellers letting them know an update and then finally the buyer, as promised, closed without an issue.
